The Lebanese Restaurant
From a tray of mezze to tea above the sea: an afternoon at a Lebanese restaurant.
A little journey through a Lebanese restaurant, one page at a time: the shopfront under its awning, a tray of mezze, hummus with its pool of oil, falafel, tabbouleh, labneh, baba ganoush, kibbeh, man'ouché on the table, shawarma turning on the spit, tea on a terrace above the sea, a Lebanese coffee, and a long shared meal among friends.
Thirteen original black-and-white illustrations plus a cover, drawn to be printed and colored again and again. Made for Lebanese restaurants and mezze houses that want to give their youngest guests something to do at the table. The page titles are in French.
